Since 2023, CENTR is hosting the European TLD ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Centre). As a special working group, the TLD ISAC has its own budget and governance structure. Its mission is to strengthen the security and resilience of top-level domain registries in Europe through information sharing, collaboration, and promoting best practices.
The European TLD ISAC
The European Top-Level Domain ISAC Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (European TLD ISAC) brings together domain registry operators, security experts, and other stakeholders to share threat intelligence, identify emerging trends, and develop proactive measures to prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks.
By fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and partnership, it aims to enhance the security posture of top-level domains in Europe and protect the digital economy’s critical infrastructure. The TLD ISAC has its own governance structure separate from but embedded in the CENTR structure. Information, intelligence and best practice sharing happens in its Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Any non-suspended full member of CENTR can become member of the TLD ISAC upon approval of its application by the TLD ISAC Assembly.
