Skiing before or after the meeting
Some of you might want to use the oportunity of the GA being held in Switzerland to go skiing.
Here is a very short list of Skiing Areas which are reachable by public transport from Zurich. If you are planning one day only starting from Zurich, the two closer areas might be preferable. If you are planning two days, then the bigger ones in the middle of the mountains offer longer slopes and more possibilities. It is recommended to spend the night in the resort. Traffic back to Zurich on Sunday evenings is bad, trains are completely full, you might want to keep this in mind.
You can go along with the suggestions below, or ask the Office of Tourism for support: https://www.myswitzerland.com/en-ch/interests/adventure-sports-winter.html
