CENTR holds its 60th General Assembly in Brussels

On 10 October, CENTR held its 60th General Assembly (GA) in Brussels, Belgium.

As with last October’s GA, the morning session had an EU policy focus, with updates from the European Commission, RIPE NCC and ICANN. This was followed with updates on domain name market trends, EU policy, Work Track 5 of the Subsequent Procedures PDP and the ccNSO Retirement PDP.

The afternoon session was dedicated to internal matters, including the approval of next year’s budget and strategy. CENTR has many exciting projects planned for 2019, including the celebration of its 20th anniversary. Top on the agenda was the approval of .ge’s membership application. The CENTR secretariat and its wider community wish to welcome .ge on board!
