Today, CENTR joins a broad group of 84 signatories, supporting the pushback against potential measures introducing a dispute resolution mechanism in the interconnection market in the upcoming DNA proposal.
In our efforts to advocate for evidence-based policymaking and free and open internet, CENTR and the wider internet technical community joined forces with consumers and digital rights organisations, the European content industry, and a wide range of actors from the internet ecosystem, in warning on the immediate and far-reaching consequences that mandatory fees for delivering traffic would have on net neutrality and Open Internet principles, other than on European consumers, businesses and digital rights.
