Social media and SME initiatives discussed at Marketing workshop

News 01-03-2021

On Tuesday, 23 February, the Marketing Working Group met online for their winter workshop. Over 57 participants attended the event, including many new faces.

The agenda of the meeting was developed based on the suggestions collected in the evaluation survey from the last meeting. The main themes were social media and registries’ initiatives targeted at entrepreneurs, specifically start-ups and (pre-)starters.

The WG experimented with different formats, including break-out sessions and round table discussions, in order to get the most out of this online experience and give the participants more opportunity to speak out and share. It was an extremely fruitful meeting, and attendees were engaged and active throughout.

The day started with the Tour de Table and two presentations on registries’ work with entrepreneurs during the pandemic, followed by a whole afternoon devoted to the topic of social media. Participants were given an overview of the CENTR Social Media Survey results, available in the meeting report, and also shared their advice on creating social media strategies and content, experiences, and hits and misses.
