Update from the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-14)

News 03-11-2014

More than 2,000 participants are currently gathering in Busan (South Korea) to hammer out numerous resolutions (see matrix by Internet Society) that will seal the future of both the ITU and presumably “the Internet”. In its first week, the so-called PP-14 saw its new Secretary-General Houlin Zhao (China) elected, as well as the Deputy Secretary-General and the 12 members of the Radio Regulations Board. Discussions on the resolutions are to be finalised this weekend, the PP-14 will end on 7 November (tweets, live Webcasts, CENTR blog post and a CENTR Paper).
