At the 52nd Administrative Working Group meeting on 18-19 February, Sascha Kämpf (DENIC, .de) was re-elected Chair of the working group. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sascha for his energy and continued dedication over the years!
The workshop was held online over two days, and once again we welcomed a record number of participants, with many new faces joining the meeting. The agenda was varied, with topics such as CRM development, chat systems and registrar security requirements, as well as the usual tour de table of registry updates.
Participants were given an overview of the top EU Policy files which will impact registries in the coming months, and in particular the Digital Services Act, the NIS 2 Directive and the e-Evidence proposal. This update was particularly relevant for the discussion on registrant identification that was held later in the meeting. The latest EU Policy Updates can be found here.
